General submitting information

:fella: :pointr: Sony Alpha?</u>
Which DSLRs are we talking about? We’re talking about these guys (also including A-100).
If you do have a Sony Alpha, but lens (etc.) of another brand, that does not matter :)

:fella: :pointr: Submitting</u>
First of all, this is an all-around club, which means that we submit pretty much anything, as long as these rules are followed:

If you want to submit something to the club you’ll need your membership number, and also the picture you’re submitting should have picture information saying that it’s taken with a Sony Alpha, if not, place some information in the "Artist's Comment" about it. If some of these "rules" are broken, the picture won’t get submitted!

All you have to do is to send a note to the club and write "Submit” in the subject box. In the message box you’ll have to make sure that you’ve written your membership number, then you add the thumb of the picture you want to submit (one thumb only!)

Also, you're now able to make us add a watermark to it, making sure that people don't fav the picture as a thumb, giving you the favs that the image deserves. If you want us to do this make sure you add "watermark" somewhere in the note.
And, you're also able to add your own keywords, just write "keywords: [the keywords]" somewhere in the note, and we'll add them :) If you chose not to add your own, we will just add "sony alpha club"

One more time:
- The picture must have some kind of picture information, saying "Sony DSLR-A[model]"
- Write a note, subject “submit”
- Add your membership number and the thumb
- if you want us to add watermark - write "watermark"
- if you want us to add keywords - write "keywords [the keywords]"

Although there's no limit at the time, the staff preserve the right to make a limit on how many submissions a Deviant are allowed to submit  during a certain time-frame.
E.g.: if you’re sending 30 submitting notes during 24 hours, all those will probably not be submitted. However, if you have sent a note, but the picture hasn’t been uploaded within a week, we recommend that you re-send the note.

:fella: :pointr: How to keep the picture information</u>
As you probably know, we’re a bit strict when it comes to documentation, if you want your picture submitted, we want the picture information field to confirm that the picture is taken with a Sony Alpha. A lot of you guys don’t know how to keep this information after editing or framing the shot, so I’ll write an easy way to keep it:

If you have a shot, named e.g. DSC01489 you copy this file by pressing CTRL + C, and past it by pressing CTRL + V. If you’ve chosen to past the picture in the same folder as the original, you’ll have the original, DSC01489, and DSC01489 (copy).
Now you can go ahead and edit one of them (it doesn’t matter which), and when you’re done you save the edited picture over the unedited. E.g.:
Editing DSC01489, save it over DSC01489 (copy)
Editing DSC01489 (copy) save it over DSC01489

Short version
Copy the original file
Edit one of the two versions
Save the edited version over the un-edited.

This is just one of many ways to do it, but the important thing is that
your picture information looks just like it did on the original, and that we’re all happy ^^

If you have any questions about this speed guide, don't be afraid to ask :)

a question:
we have to submit only the original photos? For example, a photo with a photoshop filter(i.e dark strokes) can be submitted?
